Some nostalgic (and other) games

Some of these games are from the early days of home computing. “Linko”, “Bounce”, “MazeMaster”, and “Quintominos” were my own, originally written in BASIC for the Compucolor II. (See compucolor.org for more on that wonderful machine.) “Battleship” and “Bagels” were originally written by other programmers in BASIC at an earlier time when the usual input/output device was still the slow teleprinter (TTY).

I have spruced all of them up quite a bit and reprogrammed them for playing in web browsers.

(Caution: “Bounce” might not do well on some tablets, because a virtual keyboard may pop up and hide some things you want to see.)

“Link 'em” is a more recent invention (December 2022). So is “14 Puzzle” (August 2023).
